A gambeson is a padded defensive jacket, worn as armour separately, or combined with mail or plate armour. With their full armor, these kind of warriors known as berserkers were renowned for their ferocity and unique abilities, which have left a lasting impact on Viking history and folklore.
This is a 3D asset created by capturing a real life object that is historically authentic to the time period mentioned in its description. To ensure that our 3D scanned assets fit the periods marked at their item info, we collaborate with museum curators and historical reenactors.
