This is a Retiarius or Veles class Gladiator from the 1th century. He is wearing a belt with a loin-cloth, a forearm band, an arm protector and knee high sandals. He is standing in an A-pose.
The equipment of the Retiarius class gladiator included the three-pronged harpoon (Tridens or Tridentis), the net, the dagger (Pugio), forearm guard and full-arm guard (Manica) and the metal shoulder guard (Galerus). His opponent was the Murmillo gladiator, but most notably the Secutor gladiator - with the rounded helmet.
